Community Development Grants
The Renmark Paringa Council recognises and supports the major contribution that “not for profit” community groups provide to their local and wider communities. The Council provides the Community Development Grants Program, offering an annual total of $26,000 to support community projects, which aim to improve the quality of life of Renmark Paringa residents.
The Community Development Grants provide funding for community initiatives including projects that develop community capacity and/or leadership and capital works projects delivering community facilities improvement.
An information session and official grant opening is held in late March annually, with grant applications closing early-mid May.
Community Development Grants:
Grants of up to $5,000 are available for eligible community groups. Successful applicants need to show a high degree of self-help by providing significant contributions to the project (this may be made up of matching cash contribution, voluntary labour and/or goods in kind).
